Credit Cards in OpenAI

For the OpenAI API to work you have to register a credit/debit card in your OpenAI API account and also generate an API key.

This is a requirement from OpenAI (and is out of our control) - Even if you are using your free credits you still need to have a card registered with them.

To register a card go to : https://platform.openai.com/overview and log in (or create an account) - Click on your name in the top right corner and a menu will appear - Select "Manage Account" from that menu.

On the left hand side there is a menu - click the "Billing" option - You will see a green "Payment Methods" icon in the middle - Please click that and then click "Add A Payment Method".
